PERIPHERY SPACE is an artist-led art space in Gorey, Co. Wexford. It is an environment where new ideas, discourses, and processes in contemporary art, film and photography will be fostered and formed.
Through workshops and training, this space will support innovation in contemporary art as well as promote public engagement and exchange.

This business plan is still relevant, although it was written 6 years ago. It was successfully awarded €150,000 from Wexford Local Development and this grant was used to begin the building where most of the proposed activities will take place. There are details of our marketing, financial strategy and planned festivals contained within it.
In May 2017, we conducted a week long survey of our local community. This survey led to our recent infrastructural developments. The raw data is available upon request.
Get Together was a joint application made by Gorey School of Art and Gorey Municipal District. This grant has led to the development of our cinema, artist workspaces, gallery and improved accessiblity and visibilty.
