This children’s drawing and painting workshop will be based on short story read to the students upon arrival. Children will use paint and a range of drawing materials to illustrate their favourite parts of the story. This workshop is a great way for children to use their own creativity to create unique pieces of art.

Max. 10 children per session

Session 1: 4.30PM - 5.30PM (BOOKED OUT) 

Session 2: 5.30PM - 6.30PM (BOOKED OUT )

Radio Podcasting Workshop

with Mayte Gonzalez and Tony McGuinness

Participants will produce a radio programme of approximately 10-12 minutes duration and record it 'as live' at the end of the workshop. All participants will have the opportunity to have a 'hands on' experience with the various disciplines and roles involved in the making of a radio production including researching stories, interviewing, mixing desk operations, recording and editing.

Printmaking Workshop

with Andrea McCorry

We will be looking at mono-printing in black and white and colour, using extender base and masking techniques to experiment with the medium. We will also make small drypoint etching plates and print them in black and white.
